ANEW2-a new opportunity to connect!

Even though the Coronavirus has affected all our ‘norms’, Women’s Ministry of the Rio Grande continues to work to “connect and support all women in their diverse ministries...” After much discussion, the Women's Ministry Council has decided to Postpone the Bringing Creativity to Prayer and Worship retreat until next summer.

In place of that, we are going VIRTUAL! This is an experiment for all of us. We plan to have gatherings via Zoom on the 4th Saturday of every month at 10AM, beginning April 25 through August 22. Each session will be around an hour to hour and half.

Join with Women’s Ministry for ANEW², an interactive Zoom series exploring ways we, as Christian women, can respond to the changes caused by the COVID19 pandemic. There will be worship to begin and end each session, plus time to share with one another after hearing a short presentation about the topic.

The working schedule for ANEW² is:

April 25: Explore how the lives of 1st Century Christians, who also lived and worshipped in uncertain times, can inspire our faith and response. Be ready to share what you and/or your church are doing to respond to COVID19.
