Books for Tohajille

Donations of books for the children of Tohajille was a project that came out of our first ANEW2 Zoom gathering in April. Rita Pino-Vargas suggested it as a way to support children who don't have many books. Summer is an important time for children to have books! We all know that the school year was cut short and many children will have lost much of what they learned by fall. Continuing to read is one way to help.
As restrictions on meeting to collect donations still continue Women's Ministry will collect funds, which will then be used to purchase books. If you want to participate in this collection monetarily, you can easily make a donation via the PayPal button below.  Note that the company name will show up as Footprints from the Bible. 

You can also send your donation to Cindy Davis, Diocesan Coordinator of Women's Ministry. Please be sure the check is made out to the diocese and labeled for Book Collection in the memo.

Book Release Announcement

Cindy Davis is delighted to announce the release of her latest book: The Lord's Prayer: Walk in Love. In a departure from earlier works, this devotional with study questions looks at the very familiar Lord's Prayer as a way to live more fully into the Presiding Bishop's Way of Love, and work together to become the Beloved Community.
Cindy plans a release party and retreat event later when we can gather together. In the meantime, watch for information about a virtual 7 or 8 week study based on this book that will start later this summer!
