“Joy”—what do you think of when you hear the word JOY?
Br. Angel Roque, diocesan Youth and Young Adult Missioner and member of the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, is our speaker for the Annual Fall Women’s Ministry Retreat on November 4-5 at St. Mark’s, 431 Richmond Pl. NE, ABQ (and via Zoom).
Jesus said, “unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” In the same way, Joy is the seed that bears fruit in our lives and ministry. Br. Angel invites us to discover how Joy can fill our lives even, and perhaps especially, in times of loss and change as well as happy and pleasant days.
Registration of $60 covers a light dinner Friday evening and lunch on Saturday. Zoom registration is $20. (Some partial scholarships are available for in-person attendees.) On Friday we’ll gather at 5:30PM for registration and a light dinner, ending with worship at 8:00PM. Saturday begins with Eucharist at 8:30AM and concludes around 3:30PM.
